P90 ToniDoll RickRack Dress

This P90 ToniDoll RickRack Dress is a copy of a classic Toni dress and is trimmed with vintage cotton rick rack. The dress bodice has full puffed sleeves and a scooped neck overlay with rick rack trim. The dresses have a silk bow at the neckline and tiny buttons down the front. The P90 ToniDoll RickRack Dress closes with two snaps on the back. There are only two dresses in each color available. Don’t forget her slip, panties, and shoes.

Toni dolls marked on their backs have a P for plastic and numbers corresponding to their size. The sizes are as follows: P-90 on the 14″; P-91 on the 15″-16″; P92 on the 19″; P-93 on the 21″; and P-94 on the 22 1/2″.

The Toni dolls, introduced in 1949, with nylon hair by Dupont that little girls loved as they could perm with a home permanent (sugar water). She came in five sizes, but the largest size of 22 1/2″ is very rare. Toni’s dresses were available in a wide variety, ranging from bridal gowns to school dresses.
