Cissy Doll RedPlaid Dress&Hat set is a replica of the 1955 red plaid cotton dress with a wide white collar trimmed in Venice lace. Small rhinestones dot the front bodice and skirt. The skirt is full and is hemstitched. The straw hat is adorned with a multitude of flowers that closely replicate the original flowers. The edge of the hat is wired so it can be reshaped if needed. Included is a draw-string reticule matching purse.
The perfect slip for this set is a Rick Rack Cancan slip. Two crinoline ruffles, one on the outside and one on the inside of the taffeta slip, add a pouf to the skirt on this dress. Cissy will also need lace-trimmed taffeta panties.
