Description
Binny Cissy Wig Cap
Binny Cissy Wig Cap is the same size and shape as the original Cissy wig caps from the ’50s. The edge has the same shape in front and back as the original cap with the ear tabs on the sides. The regular wig cap is softer and the firm wig cap has more body like the original caps had.
If there is still a lot of the original wig cap that is deteriorating, the regular wig cap will work well. When attaching the wig cap to your wig use a fabric glue such as Aleene’s. Fabric glue will dry waterproof, then you will be able to wash and style your wig without it coming unglued.
If you are doing very much sewing onto the wig cap you will want the cap that is more firm. If a cap has fallen completely apart, I take the wefting off and sew each edge. Then I carefully sew the wefting onto the new wig cap in the same position as the original wig. I use my sewing machine, but you can hand sew the wefting onto the cap.
