Project Description

Bisque Shoulder Head Doll

This lovely Bisque Shoulder Head Doll was a mess when she came in. Someone had glued her broken eye mechanism then set her eyes open. I took that all apart, made a new rocker bar, and reset her eyes correctly so they sleep now. She was also missing all her fingers and was leaking sawdust everywhere. Her body was really dirty and stained, so I cleaned her up, remade her lower eyes and patched the rest of her body. Her thumbs and fingers were missing, so I resculptured them and repainted them to match her arms.

Her old dress was really fragile, but I made it into a slip for her. I repaired her leaking body, then made her machine French sewn undies and dress. She is dressed now as a little girl of her period would have been.

She is a Bisque shoulder head on a leather jointed body. The back of her shoulderplate is marked 2002S, then a Star with PB inside; then an H, a space, then a 2.
